QuickStart: an Entrepreneurial Training Program for the Unemployed

QuickStart is a fast-paced six-week training program that teaches unemployed people about entrepreneurship and how to launch their own small business in order to create their own jobs offered by the Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL).  In addition to the curriculum, QuickStart participants get one-on-one consultations with business experts and are further supported by six months of mentoring from the Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership.  Funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, QuickStart is FREE for people who are unemployed.

The Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership is very excited to announce three new opportunities for people to learn how to launch a business and create their own jobs through QuickStart: an Entrepreneurial Training Program for the Unemployed!

• QuickStart Online will launch on Monday, November 28, 2011.  This is a great opportunity for people who cannot attend the classroom-based QuickStart sessions to get the benefits of the same curriculum through our online platform.
• QuickStart Maplewood will begin on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Hilton Branch Library, located at 1688 Springfield Avenue, Maplewood.
• QuickStart Somerset will begin on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 113 Belmont Drive, Somerset.  This session offers special benefits to Somerset County residents, offered by the Somerset Community Action Program.

The goal is to help people return to the workforce by creating their own jobs.  Attached please find flyers that you are welcome to share with anyone who might be interested.
