Microsoft Office 2010: Transition from 2003 - Workshops available for Public Library Staff
As part of the BTOP grant initiative, a number of public libraries across the State have received new computer workstations, equipped with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010. However, many libraries may have older versions of Microsoft Office and staff may be unaware of the new features of Microsoft Office 2010.
In collaboration with the Community College Consortium, the New Jersey State Library will now offer classes for library staff to ensure familiarity with the new features and components of Microsoft Office 2010.
Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Identify features common to all applications in the MS Office suite.
- Modify documents using Microsoft Office Word 2010.
- Present spreadsheet data using Microsoft Office Excel 2010.
- Create Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010 presentations.
- Share files in Microsoft Office 2010.
