McGraw Hill's GED Online provides step-by-step, web-based, interactive instruction to help you prepare for the GED Test:
- 118 lessons in all of the subjects tested by the GED test: writing, social studies, science, reading, and mathematics
- Lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs
- Develops study plans if you need additional practice
- Features subject-specific pretests to help identify your current strengths and weaknesses
Vision
We hope that libraries are able to utilize GED Online to allow patrons to gain an interactive and detailed online experience in preparing for the GED test. GED Online incorporates videos, assessments, lessons, and much more that will better prepare the patron to master the skills necessary for the GED test.
Although GED Online was developed to work in a classroom environment, the State Library is working diligently to allow for user-friendly access in any environment.
Librarian Role:
- Log-in to your library's "Teacher" account and create a "Student" account for any patron interested in utilizing GED Online. Once the Student Account is created, the patron can access the resource at any location.
- Collect success stories from those that have utilized GED Online and all other resources purchased with BTOP grant funds.
We welcome your feedback in making GED Online more user-friendly for patrons.
